We are looking for a versatile and ambitious Custom Research Analyst to join our new in-office Melbourne, Australia team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning research questions into well-designed studies, managing the details of project delivery, interpreting findings, and helping create clear, compelling client outputs.
You will support custom research projects across a mix of sectors, working closely with senior researchers and global colleagues to help design questionnaires, manage fieldwork, check data quality, analyse results, and contribute to reports and presentations. The role requires strong research instincts, excellent attention to detail, comfort working with survey data, and an ability to turn findings into meaningful stories for clients.
The role may also involve supporting proposal development and business development activity, including helping prepare credentials, draft proposal content, contribute to research approaches, and support materials for client conversations.
This position reports into the Global Research team and will work closely with research leads across our global offices. Given the international nature of the work, the role may occasionally require joining calls outside standard Australian business hours to collaborate with colleagues and clients in other markets.
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation that the successful candidate will work from the office at least three days per week. Some flexibility will be available where needed, but regular in-person collaboration is an important part of the role.
